The Coated Diplomat® is slightly warmer than Clear Diplomats due to a coated single layer of 7.5 mil Mylar® film. They’re known for their bright warm tones, resonance, and sustain. Coated Diplomat heads are best known for accentuating snare drum response.

The Coated Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a coated single ply 10 mil Mylar® film to produce a warm open, bright, and resonant sound with a warm attack. Coated Ambassador heads are the standard of the industry for both live and recording situations.

Coated Emperor® heads are warmer and more durable than Clear Emperors. They’re made with two free-floating plys of 7 mil Mylar® film, which gives consistent open warm tones which accounts for their popularity among many of today’s Studio, Pop, R&B and Rock drummers.

Coated Pinstripe's® quick decay makes them ideal heads for the “fat” sounds of Pop, Rock and R&B and for those who want a low pitched sound with warm attack and response characteristics.

Coated Smooth White™ heads offer warm mid range tones. Coated Smooth White heads bring out the center of the drum with a subtle attack making them great for all playing situations.

The Coated Powerstroke® 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen high frequency overtones. This creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made Powerstroke 3 one of Remo’s most preferred drumheads.

The Coated Powerstroke® 4 is a 2-ply version of the Powerstroke® 3. Powerstroke® 4's offer more durability and focused mid range tones making them the darkest sounding of the classic coated Weatherking heads.

Coated Controlled Sound® drumheads have medium and heavy-duty drumhead characteristics. The outer area of the head’s playing surface offers mid-range tone and sensitivity while the laminated center “dot” adds durability and tonal focus. Coated Controlled Sound heads are one of Remo’s most preferred snare drum heads.
