Sat 25 Oct, 3pm, Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre, The Splinter Orchestra, tickets at the door. The Splinter Orchestra is a large improvising group based in Sydney, which has been running for about 8 years. The group has an ever changing line-up and size, usually anything from 10 to 25 members, and has reached up to 55 members on occasions. It is an electro-acoustic group, involving laptops and other electronics as well as traditional instruments (saxophones, trumpets, basses, guitar, percussion etc). Call Alex for details 0406 361 439. The newly formed ORANGE BLUES CLUB is a non profit organisation based in
Orange NSW and comprises of members passionate about blues music.
You don't have to play an instrument to join, anyone who has an appreciation
for this wonderful genre of music can JOIN FOR FREE.
The ORANGE BLUES ClUB holds FREE monthly blues jams at the VICTORIA HOTEL
334 Summer st. Orange where ALL the instruments are kindly supplied by
LANDERS MUSIC, but you can also bring your own.
There will be guest artist blues performers and blues CD packs raffled at
each jam.
