it's time I made a confession. It's a dirty, dirty confession but in order to move on my therapist has told me I must tell all to everyone. I must confess that I am in lust with an inanimate object. It's not just any inanimate object though, it's a Marshall AS100D acoustic amp. At $1399 this amp should become the amp of choice for the acoustic performer. It can cope with any acoustic instrument regardless of whether it has a built-in pick-up or not. Between its 4 channels, this combo has the flexibility to handle instruments with piezo transducers or magnetic pickups, plus microphones, for both vocal and instrument reproduction. The effects are superb and it's extremely easy to find the right sound you are searching for. This amp is waiting for you to come into the store and plug and play.

The AS100D has been specially designed for use with a variety of acoustic instruments, regardless of whether they have pickups built in or not. Between its 4 channels, this combo has the flexibility to handle instruments with piezo transducers or magnetic pickups, plus microphones, for both vocal and instrument reproduction. The 2 main acoustic instrument channels [1 and 2] may be linked together and feature independent level and EQ controls. The dedicated microphone channel offers a similar level of control. The AS100D also has phono inputs on the Auxiliary channel, specifically for use with external audio equipment.

Its 2x50-Watt stereo configuration gives you enough power to perform on stage with superb clarity, while the provision of a balanced line out allows you the luxury of direct connection to an external PA system for larger concerts. The superb quality of the built-in digital effects for Reverb, Delay, and Chorus, adds an entirely new dimension to the range of sounds available. The AS100D is actually the first ever Marshall combo to feature digital effects, but it certainly wont be the last! Should you want to add further effects, there is a parallel effects loop complete with level control.

One of the most difficult aspects of amplifying acoustic instruments is feedback. To help eliminate this, the AS100D features several "anti-feedback" controls, including a Phase switch for each channel and frequency controllable Notch Filters with selectable extra depth for channels 1 and 2.

For clear and detailed performance, the AS100D is loaded with (2) 8 in. speakers and 2 high fidelity polymer dome tweeters. There is also an internal limiter that allows you to push the maximum level from the stereo 50-Watt output stage, while remaining distortion-free.

Compact and portable, the stylish AS100D offers great flexibility and is the ideal amplifier for the acoustic player who wants the highest quality performance, with absolutely natural tonal reproduction.

The Marshall AS100D gives you the power to perform, but with sound so natural you'll forget you're even plugged in!

Marshall has released a new amp series, the Marshall Vintage Modern amps, that combine the sound of a vintage amp (all-valve amps, with fat and smooth sound) with the easy-to-use functionality of modern amps. All the amps of this series feature one single channel, supplied footswitch and the selectable dynamic range. Low range remembers a vintage Marshall amp and the high range (with an extra pre-amp valve) remembers the 70s classic rock sounds.

The Marshall Vintage Modern series include models 2466, 2266 and 2266C heads and 425 cabinets. The Marshall 2466 is an all-valve 100W head that features four ECC83 pre-amp and four KT-66 power amp valves. The Marshall 2266 is an all-valve 50W head that features four ECC83 pre-amp and two KT66 power amp valves. The Marshall 2266C is an all-valve 50W combo amp that features 2 x 12” Celestion G12C speakers, four ECC83 pre-amp and two KT66 power amp valves

When Marshall launched the DSL100 in the late '90s, the world's guitar press unanimously hailed it as 'the best Marshall ever.' As a result of this the pressure was truly on when we introduced the next two members of the JCM2000 family, the 100 Watt, Triple Super Lead (TSL) twins: the TSL100 head and TSL122 2x12" combo.
How did the critics react? "It does everything my old Marshalls do and more . . . the TSL is far more versatile than any other valve Marshall out there, and offers many ways to 'tweak' your tone. The TSL100 has taken the lead as the best sounding Marshall amp available today. Marshall's sound engineers have outdone themselves this time. It'll be tough for them to top this one," is how 'GUITAR SHOP' magazine put it. We're delighted to report that this rave review was the global norm.
TSL602 $2599
DSL valvehead $2399

Attitude, stunning good looks and an incredible 350 Watts of brutal yet toneful power set the MODE FOUR apart from all other amps. Add to this an arsenal of great sounds, a slew of professional features plus groundbreaking, state-of-the-art hybrid technology and you have a Marshall like no other.

The first ever Marshall, the legendary JTM45, was born in 1962 as a result of the Guv'nor, Jim Marshall, listening to what guitar players wanted. Forty years later, the song remains the same and that's how the MODE FOUR came to be. Modern guitarists told us they wanted an amp capable of more gain, more low-end and more headroom than ever before . . . plus great cleans and, of course, the crunch tones that have made Marshall a legend! We listened and reacted - the result is the MODE FOUR.

Mode Four Head - $2499

Nothing personifies the image of rock 'n' roll more completely than a wall of Marshall stacks. Though often imitated, nothing compares to the original. The world's first ever 4x12" cab was designed and built by Jim Marshall in 1962, and with it a legend was born. Since then we have made many thousands, which have appeared on stages all over the globe.

Standard 75 Watt 'G12T-75' speakers (1960A/B).

To ensure the ultimate in flexibility, the 1960A (angled), 1960B (straight), 1960AV and 1960BV cabs are switchable between Mono (4 or 16 Ohms) and Stereo (8 Ohms per side). The two Mono impedance options provide extra amp matching capability while the cabinets' stereo capability makes them ideal for rack systems which typically run in stereo.

1960A - $1499

1960B - $1495
